After my 2004 4.4 75,000 miles X5 imploded this weekend, the dealer calls (who I like very much and has always been very very fair) and gives me this list.

Says there is a leak in an oil line from rust thru - says it's not a CPO warranty item quotes $650.00 +/-

The front driver door handle broken - new carrier etc - not covered under CPO warranty quotes 350.00 +/-

What's anyones opinion about the warranty coverage - I don't have the paperwork home - it's in the car. Prices seem sort of high but it is a BMW. I'm more surprised about the lack of CPO warranty coverage for the items.

If anyone has had any experience with coverage for these items, please share.
