Well, I know at least one person here who put the rear 20x10.5 wheels with the 315 tires on the front and it fit. He used the same setup on th rear.

The problem you don't want to have is a large difference in tire diameters between the front and rear tires. If you do, you will be courting drivetrain damage.

So, you need to find the correct combination of width (275, 285, etc) AND profile (40, 45, etc) for the front AND rears to have the same or very similar tire diameters.

Lemme check real quick and I'll post some examples ... or search on the board. I assume you're talking about using the stock 4.6/4.8 wheels.

Assuming no change in the wheels (staggered), if you go wider up front you'll more than likely have to go SMALLER width, with a TALLER profile, in the rear to match the lower profile fronts - not good. I'd stick with the stock 275s. It's hard to match tires with staggered wheels. If you wanted to run same size 20" wheels, whether stock width or not, easier to just run same size tires all around that doesn't hit the inner fender wells up front.

$2K for reps is high unless that includes the tires. I paid around $900 for mine including shipping, lugs and lock lugs, and hub rings.
They selling them with the Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta's which I have found in ebay for as low as 227 each. They probably sold them by now since I didnt act fast.

Can't speak as far as driving in NYC, but the overall ride is going to be a little rougher just bc your going to a lower profile tire.
I already have staggered 20" wheels from the 4.6. I'm assuming their the same ride since they are the same size.

With the 20s what would be the width for the front tires? Are they still off set?
Their supposed to be 275/40/20 in the front and 315/35/20 in the back. I once had a flat and was forced to put 295 in the back since I didn't want to ride with a spare. I preferred to buy 2 used tires even though they were the wrong size while I waited for a new pair the correct size.

So what I am saying is, you can play with the size a little bit as long as your ok with how they look.

Looks minty fresh. your the reason why I was contemplating the skid plate. It looks hot and costs soooo much less than the kit.
