Do E70 20" wheels fit E53?

I have an 04 3.0 which just underwent a major rear suspension job to fix the camber issue we all have or will have to fix. But now its time for a wheel alignment, therefore I need new tires since both my 20"s and 17"s are wasted down to the wires on the inner rears.

I already ordered a pair of Dunlop Sport Maxx 315/35/20, so I will have my alignment done with those. However, I found someone selling a brand new set of 20" replicas for the E70 with brand new vredestein's. Sweet! I'm thinking of buying those and selling my 4.6is 20's to try and recoup part of what I pay for those. He's asking $2300, I can probably get them for $2000. pics are attached....

My question(s) is/are:

1. Do they fit the E53?
2. Will they (replicas) ride smooth?
3. Will they (replicas) last/handle NYC streets?
4. What are they worth? What is the going price? Is $2000 ok or too much?
5. How much can I get for my 4.6is 20"s?
6. Should I put the 4.6is spoiler kit or just the skid plate in the front?

$2K for reps is high unless that includes the tires. I paid around $900 for mine including shipping, lugs and lock lugs, and hub rings.

Yes the reps will fit fine, you will just need to purchase some hubcentric rings because the hub size on the E53 is smaller than the E70. There are many posts on here where others have done this (including me).

Can't speak as far as driving in NYC, but the overall ride is going to be a little rougher just bc your going to a lower profile tire. But you will learn to live with it just from the difference in appearnae of your X.

Good luck!!

Hey those are the rims I have right now. Same exact one and I live in NYC. I didn't want to spend $2000 for the real ones so I bought the replicas for $800+. They're a little on the heavy side but they're made well. No complaints. I've hit a couple of pretty bad potholes and they're holding up great.

All I had to buy was hub rings which were like $20 off ebay.

$2000+ is too much IMO.

I bought the rims from this seller off ebay.

X5Dawg, your X is clean man. That's one of the clean white X I've seen.

With the 20s what would be the width for the front tires? Are they still off set?

Not sure what you're asking but if you mean if the wheels are staggered sizes for the 20" 4.6 wheels ... then yes. They are 20x9.5 front & 20x10.5 rear, if I'm not mistaken. Tires for the front I think are 275/40.

OP ... IMO, $2000 w/o tires is way high for reps.

Sorry. I meant could a 285....work up front or what would be the widest I could get away with when going from 19s to 20s.
