want to add relay so inner high beams are on
I have a 05 with adaptive headlights and bi-xenon lights. The only time the inner high beams illuminate is when the stalk is pulled back. Yes, this is a USA one. I can add relays and seperate wiring to make the inner high beams work with the bi-xenons, but it would be very cool to modify the lkm to do this. I have the Bentley E53 manual, but the wiring schematics are not of much help, other than knowing which pins are used. So, anyone think about this or actually do it??

I dont understand your question, are you saying you want the high beams on when the xenons come on? I would advise against that you would be blinding on coming traffic.

I wish I had the equipment so I could flash my highbeams w/o the foglights shutting off. I don't like the HID's turning on and off quickly.

That would only be practical if you were ALWAYS driving out in the middle of nowhere w/n oncoming traffic. If HID's are not enough for you to properly see the road you should seriously reconsider driving IMO no offense or disrespect to you but it pisses me off driving around and being constantly blinded by people with high beams on.

This function can be added by changing the coding of the LCM.

Funny, I just noticed tonight that my 2006 does the same thing. I thought I had a problem, which is why I went searching here. When you push the stalk forward to turn on the high beams, only the outer bulbs react. They get brighter but the inboard high beams do not illuminate. They do illuminate when the stalk is pulled back. How does one change the coding on the LCM. What is the LCM?

Why do you prefer the lower halogen light output as your high beam (inner lights) rather than the brighter and whiter HID Bi-Xenon? |

you can ship the LCM to me, and i can do the Coding for you on my bench |

I guess I don't intend to have halogen instead of HID bi-xenon. I didn't realize one was HID and the other ordinary halogen. The performance of the high beams on the road has always been very good.
Another issue that I'm having is that my drivers side low beam is malfunctioning intermittently. I'm getting a "check low beam" warning. Is this a sign of the bulb failing or the LCM? |

Where in America are you? I'd like to have my foglights stay on regardless of the highbeams being flashed, and keyseat memory turned on as well. I realize that's a different module, but can you program that on your bench?
