Could it be.....

Recap - My 2004 4.4 with 75,000 miles went to the dealer for rough idle on cold start up issue. The SES light would activate and the idle would generally correct after shut down/restart. The dealer was unable to reproduce the condition and even had tech's take it home at night to create a cold start condition. The intermediate levers were checked per the newer Service Bulletin and the diagnostics showed them well within spec even though my X build date falls into the captioned months. The SA told me that they put quite a few miles on it and had to fill it up since it was flat bedded to the dealer with less than a quater tank of gas. The SA is throwing around the idea of potentially bad fuel that led to the problem since they have been unable to recreate it since running fresh fuel through it. I am going to pick it up tomorrow.

To those with knowledge more then mine ( which is........everyone) does this sound like a possible scenario? I've had bad fuel in vehicles before with similar symptoms but never the X. Anyone have any experience like this? Thanks all for the time...have a great weekend...John
