When I painted my calipers, I did the mounting hardware and pads retainer clip in a black, along w/ doing the hats of the rotors. The calipers and all the hardware being all red is a little too much, especially since we don't have large dual or triple pistons w/ larger faces like you see on most Porsche's, etc. I was hoping to be able to write BMW on the face of my calipers, but since the face is so small, there simply wasn't room to put it anywhere that would still be visible from the side of the car.

How did you get the writing on there? I considered doing something like taping them and then trying to freehand the BMW using a razor, but I know how critical I am and I never would have been happy. If it's a stick, I'm past the 1 week window before I can apply the clear coat, so I could seal the sticker on the calipers. I'll post pics of my w/ black hats and hardware later.

BMW EXTREAM HI-TEMP CALIPER DECALS STICKERS : eBay Motors (item 120535856747 end time Apr-25-10 21:15:33 PDT) or BMW HI-TEMP CALIPER DECALS : eBay Motors (item 280368865819 end time Apr-04-10 09:05:45 PDT) - Same seller? How long have they lasted for you, and did you clear coat over them as well? I'd just be afraid of a degreaser or something causing them to peel off.

Here are my before and afters...I'm quite happy and haven't driven the car for a week to let them cure completely per the cans recommended directions.

The font and spacing is all wrong, if they could clone the 135i caliper font/design style I buy it in a heart beat.

Are you referring to the font and spacing of the sticker or the caliper you posted? If you're referring to the sticker, I think the font is fine, and spacing can be easily fixed when applying the sticker.

I bought a set for the 7 and X today.

I've edited the post on my other computer and haven't finished posting the Photobucket pics I found another ebay seller who is doing them for $7.50 each shipped, EXACT same ad, word for word...just a different seller name.
