You can cut that tube to get to the wires. Interesting I've not seen before either

Whoever went there went in on the nylon.

I got a refurbished sport wheel with tri m stitching, perforated side leather and smooth leather on the top and bottom. Also got a new ZHP shift knob and a coby wheel custom E brake handle to match the steering wheel. sorry for the crap picture.

the only option I wished I had on my 04 MANUAL
but then again its my winter ride so... oh well the E85 Z4 6spd manual and the 99M3 manual make up for it
