I think They sell ones that have no logo on them. I just happened to have these laying around on a lazy Sunday...

Good times.

This is went on today. I’ve been waiting for a hot minute to do this and waiting for the parts to get here.

While she’s pulled apart. Any suggestions to what else to replace?

I'll get some ACS ones on another vehicle. Maybe the E61.
Would installing a factory M dead pedal pedal just not be right?

Finally installed my resler USB interface and finished mounting my head unit more solidly. Still want to run the GPS and wifi antennae to the sunroof control area, because reasons. Never had a problem with them behind the head unit but my mind keeps telling me they would be better higher up and away from the radio.

Just finished registering a license for my VIN so we'll see how long it takes to activate. They say 24hrs. I'm excited to play with it so I anxiously await.

Not today but about 2 weeks ago, I spliced into the flashlight charger for a switched power source for an aux in bluetooth music streaming device. It's now powered and hidden away and plugged into the aux in source in the glovebox. The nice thing is it only powers up when the car is on and automatically connects to my phone. No additional buttons to press!

GPS signal blocked by metal not by glass or plastic. Middle of dash gets a very good window of sky through front window, sun roof, side windows from the dash position. Imagine if you put a point light source where you want to put the antenna and consider where light would exit the car, that's the part of the sky the antenna could observe.

When I had a Z28, I had an antenna with a magnet base that I installed on a little metal ledge just inside the trunk since the lid was plastic. Got a 360° view of the sky

Thanks for the reminder Andrew. I think I'll route the GPS around to the front top side of the dash. The Wi-Fi antennae I'll put up in the headliner.
