haha.No snow here though with the first frost I had a similar problem to last year where my lock mechanism froze and the door won't close any more. Since I had an appointment I had to drive, so drove for 15 minutes holding the door closed... bloody thing gets heavy after a while!

after 15 minutes pulled over and the door closed no problem. Lets hope tjhat's it for the year

Tornado's here in SWFL on Sunday. Sunny the next day.

The X5 3.5d remained snuggled in under the carport....

Bought new. Never been driven on ice or snow (they use Brine and sand for the two days a winter). Never even had ice or snow on it.

They never use salt or brine here, thank goodness!

Well it's time to give my X5 some love.

I took the passenger roof rab bar off, and now I want to repaint this portion.
Does anyone know what's the best paint to use?

Then I need to work on leaks...I have an oil leak on the passenger side, an oil leak on the driver side and a coolant leak in the middle...this is going to be fun. It's been leaking for a very long time so it's not easy to pinpoint.

Also, both window trims on each side have a little gap at the end. Does anyone have a link or trick to fix that?

Thanks!

Ok, now received a working original maf. Drove it 20kilometers and it seems happy. No lean codes and lambdaintegrators were in the correct area pretty much all the time. With hella maf they where over the limit pretty much all the time.
But gotta drive it more... Looks promising.
