Texas is still getting into the upper 90's has A/Cs running. Wifey complained the A/C was not kicking on. It would take too long to cool off. Thinking the valve cores were leaking, I connected my hoses. Pressure was high on both sides indicating it had too much R134. The line sensor plug was pulled off. The fan kicked on to full speed. The previous vacuum must have really pulled the system empty. It didn't take a full weight charge. Even though I tried to get it to full weight charge, it was too much. A quick small pull of R134 brought it down enough to kick on. The fan instantly kicked on and pressures were perfect.

The information I found is 15.17–15.87 oz (430-450)
It didn't take 1.5 cans making it a little low. However, I didn't account for the extra long yellow vacuum/fill hose. It will be a few days before it gets hot again for running A/C settings at max cooling. Using a gold shield windshield cover helps. So does using covers on front door windows. Limo tint on rear doors and cargo windows does help a lot to keep the black interior cooler.

Don't have the green sticker on engine bay showing the correct AC coolant capacity?

You also want to avoid the ones with oil mixed in. You end up with too much oil and a reduced refrigerant capacity.

Finally completed the brake hose swap. Free set of front shocks.
All new brake hoses installed. I think nearly 20 years is enough for the original set to be replaced. Had to wait a bit until my 11mm line wrench came in....
Still have the front shocks sitting around that I replaced a couple of weeks back. Free to anyone in need of a set. These are Bilstein touring and still have a good bit of life left in them. Possible to pick up or ship at recipient's cost.
