Mouser / Digi-key part number on those caps?

I've thought about adding them to the HID fogs. Beats cycling them off/on a couple times to fire both up.

JB, have you tried the morimoto can bus modules out? If you're having problems firing on first attempt it might be a ballast issue as well.

Have not tried the can-bus modules. Unsure if my digital ballasts have them built-in. It's always done this though. Most of the time both fire 1st attempt. At least one will always fire 1st attempt. I rarely use them so not a huge deal. Been meaning to try the capacitor thing.

2die4, I want your diesel engine! Stupid american petrol version, dont know why they didn't sell that one here.

J.Belknap, the capacitors are Radio Shack Part Im going to add some 2000uf ones to the headlights since they'll be used more often. For less than $5 bucks you can solder these in and get rid of that annoying message. I haven't had any issues with only one firing up since I put these in. Hope it works for ya

Conditioned the leather, that's about all I could do today. Stupid rain.

Over the past two weeks I have done..

Front pads and rotors
rear pads and rotors
alternator (3 times thanks to faulty remans)
Belts
hoses
Spark plugs
Pipercross drop in filter
Oil and filter change
Fuel filter
Pan drop and trans filter/fluid and torque converter flush
battery

Bought it used and decided to give it some love, which I always do when buying used cars.

Put in a front passenger door module after my passenger side mirror lost all function. Ebay salvage part for $75 shipped did the trick (vs. $145 list for new). Only the latest casualty from a reverse polarity incident...

Oh, and the Dunlop dueler sport all season tires I posted earlier about putting on my 'winter' wheels are outstanding! Super quiet, smooth, and responsive. No adverse weather yet here so I can't comment on that.
