Detail washed to remove dirt/bugs/truck grease from the 1500 mile t'giving road trip, pulled in the garage and put trickle charger on it. Will sit until the bad weather/ice/ice removal crap spread on roads clears here in Dallas area. Happiness is a clean X when DDs are covered in ice/crud!

Changed the top seal on the windshield... Wasn't sure I wanted to tackle it after reading all the posts on it, but wasn't bad at all. The old one peeled right out, and the new one slid in pretty good with some dish soap, had to slightly tap it in the the last foot or so. Definitely a better and cleaner look the my front end... Smoked side markers came in the mail from Germany today (YAY!), hopefully I'll get them installed this weekend...

Changed the oil, gave her Castrol Syntec, and put in the hood emblem I got from eBay.
Found an oil leak that looks like it's coming from the main seal, but I am undaunted!![]()

You'd be surprised as that "main seal" leak might be OFHG (oil filter housing gasket)

That'd be a relief, since that's not too hard to do (been watching vids).

Flushed the cooling system and took care of a couple of slow leaks. One leak was from the o-ring on the temp sensor on the lower radiator hose (replaced o-ring) and the other was form the o-ring on the temp sensor of the t-stat housing (replace t-stat/housing). I refilled with distilled water and a bottle of Prestone radiator flush and then drove it for a day. Today I flushed three times with distilled water then finally refilled with 50/50 mix antifreeze/distilled. Drained from the radiator and engine block each time (that block drain plug is a real PITA to get at).
After the cooling system I did an oil/filter change (Mobil 1 - synthetic, european formula) and, finally, drained out the summertime windshield washer fluid and refilled with some Windex De-Icer Windshield Washer Fluid. Bring on the winter.
