At this point I'll take the equivalent comfort glass I can get.

I looked for the other brands, found nothing. Anyone know the Pilkington or Sekurit names for comfort or sungate?

PPG glass IMO is cheap glass.....wavey, etc.
I have not had a good experience with it, but YMMV.

E30Cabrio - ? What is the purpose/need for you re: comfort glass.
If OEM comfort glass is not available stateside *assuming* your glass guy is not feeding you BS, I would still rather get a Pelkington, or the latter and have a high quality tint put on the car.

Not exactly ideal, like the CG with the laminate in the sandwich , but you can always get something like V Kool installed

+1 on avoiding PPG glass. I've seen a few with nasty waves/distortions.

142k miles on the original set. damn things were almost solid, no wonder it leaked oil all over the place

Washed and cleaned her up for the weekend. Makes me want to just sit and look at her, and not drive her for awhile!!
