I re-wired my angel-eyes (DEPO headlights), used to be tied to fog lamps but it flickers when off due to LCM test signal. I tapped the parking light (one click on the main headlight switch), to power an opto solid state relay to activate an ACC (accessory) line to power-up a 30AMP relay (I kno wit's an overkill ratingwise but) that turn the AE on/off. Very clean since I don't need to add aftermarket switch on the dash and no flicker on AE. This rather elaborate wiring cause I want to make sure when engine off the AE is off not draining the batt. |

You need to do the "same brand/style rear tire" mod on your X.

Checked the tire pressure all around. Lost 2 psi in 2 months. Not bad.

Gunmetal 87's
Powder coated my 87's Gunmetal:
![]() ![]() ![]() & removed spacers all around due to broken seized bolt on both my rear spacers: ![]() ![]() ![]() Anyone know how I can salvage these spacers without damaging them? or where I can send to repair? I contacted H&R and they told me to kick rocks...

Drill a hole through that. Slow speed, metal bit. Go slow, don't burn the bit. Keep going to bigger sizes till you are closer to the threads. Once you are close enough, take a chisel and collapse the remaining into the new hole. You can also try screw extractor kit, but that will be a hit or miss. Chances are you will need to clean up the threads, so you might have to run the threads through with a tap.

Are those 20mm spacers? If so, the OE wheel bolts should have had the 1st thread ground off (shorter length) before installing. When full length bolts are used they bottom out on the hub surface the spacer is mounted on, the end of the bolt mushrooms and the 1st thread is so deformed that it will not back out thru the spacer insert.

They're not, they are DRA 25mm. I used the supplied shorter bolts to mount to rotor then my OE bolts to mount to spacer.

Just double checked the box my spacers came in, they are also 25mm DRAs. you needed to grind approx 1/16" off the ends of the bolts to prevent them from bottoming out on the hub and deforming, I can see by the triangular shape on the end of the bolt in your pic that this was not done, you can also see the end of the bolt was mashed into the hub. H&R told you to go kick rocks because they provide details in the installation instructions to avoid this issue.
