Cool Epic day at the wrecker

Today, I was at my local wrecker, looking for a final stage resistor, after my wife told me that the fan was no longer working! (thank you for this forum I read here about how this part goes and the havoc it can cause!!)
(ps also used the search function!!!)
FRS total $20 practice run pulling it out, 15 min, on my way out I spied a nice 2006 e53 with a piled in front end, it also had Dakota black heated rear seats, hmmmm, I asked at the counter. how much?? $150 if I pull em,
so, I paid the man and pulled my new (looks like they were never sat in!) heated seats, then I discovered the pass through is there, also never used!! can this day get any better! oh, yes it can, also did the Oil filter housing gasket, again with tips from here, this place rocks!!
oh, and we did all this before the rain started! unbelievable day!!

Lucky. I have never seen a X5 in a local wrecking yard around here. Let alone any cars that have anything good. I'd love to score some heated leather rear seats.

The furthest north I have gone junk yard hoping is Lynnwood. I know there is a Pick N Pull up there and Cambell Nelson is (or was). Is it either of those?

Yes I think it's the Campbell Nelson.they were supposed to move this year but I'm not sure if they did..I just know I found pretty much anything I wanted for the e39...piano black trim , new condition leather seats, etc..not sure about e53's though..

My first post here.got the car about 10 days ago and decided to do a few preventive things to it.Glad I did it! Thought that at 135k the ccv valve is ready to be changed and found the port to the oil dipstick fully clogged.Decided that I should change valve cover gasket and spark plugs at the same time ,thinking about getting the Beisan vanos seals as well since I'm in there.ordered all the parts and hope to have them by Friday- Saturday to put it all back together .
First BMW for me and really happy about it.Worked on m54 engine before on a friends 528 so pretty familiar with what I'm doing as I started DIY on my cars 2 years ago after reading lots and lots on the forums and practicing on a Saab 9-5 witch I got cheap as a project car .replaced head gasket and rebuilt turbo on that one .
