Yes, AFE. The intake is louder in the cabin on my 3.0 above 4k, than the exhaust itself. If I had stock airbox (quiet) it would probably be a different story. I'll try to set up a video clip this week from outside the car.

Put Blitstein rear shocks on my 2003 X5. It replaced the factory ones after 170K. Am testing them on a road trip to Chicago this weekend.

OFH gasket, Idler and Tensioner Pulley, and both belts. I didnt bother with the AC Tensioner pulley as it felt fine. Fresh Oil change.
Should be good for winter now, will wait to put the snows on till after I get back from Vacation in Bali in December, shouldnt need the snows till then, I HOPE! |

What do you guys normally do for winter prep for your X5? I'm doing the obvious undercoating, snow tires and weathertech floor mats, but anything else I should be putting on my list?
oh ya, also noticed my drivers headlight is broken, oh joy, guess the shop that changed the engine removed the front end because the bumper was definitely off as well. WELL adding Depo headlights to my list too :/
