Each and every work day, my E53 gets to escape the madness and spend her waking hours basking in the warm dixie sun with her siblings and cousins, in the west parking lot of her birthplace, Werk 10.

I didn't. Don't have the workspace or tools to do the job effectively. There are "how to's" on the subject with pics and work instruction. This place is a great resource for knowledge and saving $.

Since I bought it on 10/31/11

$40 2 climate control buttons
$200 new Key fob
$23 drained Coolant
$85 A/C recharge service
$13 removed tow hitch and installed cover
$13 air filter
$60 BMW 5w-30 oil
$7 oil filter
$9 wipers
$40 replaced front door handles
$25 replaced front upper windshield trim
Lightly sanded bulb holder contact points. Brake light warning was going off.
Took it out to the snow

Cut center section of oem hitch



Need to do:
$23 front ball joints shipped 11/15
$120 urethane thrust bushings
$10 Outer CV boot
ATF filter and fluid
$4 hood emblem

changed the air filter and fixed my left turn signal.turns out it was a mix of a blown bulb and some corrosion. sadly my ipod interface no longer works

Pad wear was pretty uneven for me. This one shot was pretty good wear. I had one pad with less than 1mm left!
