Actually, the 4.8is is pretty worthless value wise and has the worst depreciation ever. Have you priced these things? Worthless unfortunately...

So what are you going to do with the truck??

I don't know nitro. I just got mine 06, 4.8is for 26k after taxes. There were all pulling 30K everywhere. Auctions it was much better, but you can't find one. Even half the dealers you call by searching the web don't have it. They just put it up to attract buyers. 4.4, and 3.0 are all over, and for half price.

I'm going to fix it and sell it after it's time to move on

I'm right there with you. Its simply incredible how little damage it sustained while completely destroying the other car.

4.8 Mike, Sorry to hear. Glad everyone is ok. As for me, a wash and new front tires for mine (yesterday) spent this morning raising the passenger side window, which the tire guy lowered (one of these days I'll put in a new regulator. Will turn 140k this weekend !!

Reinstalled the roof rails. This vehicle is going backwards! Soon, I'm going to remove the plaid trim and spend some time with Goo Gone getting the residual glue off. Good thing I don't have that many mods on the X5.
