Took it for a nice long drive after sitting outside in the parking lot all day in -30 degrees celsius weather!! Sure didn't like the cold start from the way it sounded

107.5k miles, shrimp sized scratch on bumper, mechanical/electrical issues, two very worn tires. BMW had quoted ~$1800 about three months ago. Received $7.5k

yeah right - I wish!

took the '01 in for some regular winter maintenance - good 'ol SA found more than I expected, as usual! torn front thrush bushings, a shit-ton of leaky coolant hoses, cracked expansion tank, and of course both valve cover gaskets leaking and timing cases need replacement. lovely.
as least they're good enough to put me in a new 35i until the work is done - the least they can do!

love the LCI taillights. LED angel eyes look badass

Removed old and dead Nokia-handsfree set and cleaned the inside of the climate-control unit very, very carefully.
