Awsome car. Insurance totaled my e63, which my shop bought back, fixed, and now selling as salvage. You will like the car. I personally had no issues with the AMG.

Three and a half weeks ago the engine started making chattering noises. I scheduled an appointment with my mechanic. I was worried that it was getting to the end of it's life. Only 176K miles on it. Then two weeks ago the coolant pump leak about a pint of fluid on the ground.

That's when the belt or something else started squeeling which got much worse over the next week. Finally it looks like a gallon or more fluide leaked out. The squeeling was very loud. I drove it up to the mechanic (42 miles away). It never overheated or ran any differentely.

After the repairs the mechanic said he was surprised I made it there.

New coolant pump and installation $815.00

Well 2 weeks ago I plastidipped the style 57's

Presidents day weekend got rear ended on the way to vegas by a Ford Raptor, the owner of the Raptor got out and was amazed how little damage ours had and how dominated her brand new truck was.. x5 is at the body shop and will be getting it back friday..

Right before the trip I also replaced the thermostat and applied disc brake quiet and sbs on the brakes..

Also pictured in the body shop pic are the new Yokohama YK580's.. I haven't had much time to try them out just got them Saturday but I my first impressions are very good, Handling feels WAY better than the old Goodyear Integrity's from before Tires are also very silent

Discovered why I am not getting a Low coolant light even when the expansion tank is almost empty..... Turns out the coolant level sensor wire is completely missing. The sensor is there but looks like it is being used as a plug. Discovered this when I was trying to see where the coolant was leaking for.... Now if I can't find the wire to connect, I am not sure what to do... I have a new expansion tank on the way and planning to change this week.
