That button near steering is an option for 4 wheels very rare option for 3d for example, but many 4.8is has it!
Agree, if you don't have the buttons then it's most likely a rear axle air suspension only which you cannot regulate...it does that on its own when sensing extra weight (towing/heave load in trunk etc).

Just got this error today on the way home after taking the dog to the vet. Took the fuses out associated with the self leveling system, put them back in, error gone.

It must have been a glitch and I'm pretty sure all you needed to do was just to switch off - on the car. I don't think pulling the fuse actually "resets" the system. Unless you tried the switch off - on first with no luck?

I didn't try the switch off first. Just started trouble shooting while I had few moments between appointments.
