I'd rather be safe than sorry so got the carrier and after my payment for the harness kit (which included the module) was refunded by Passport BMW I also got the harness. Now I need to find the mount that has the cover.

Hitch came. I called a PC place, they want 30 bucks to sand blast and powercoat. No brainer, I am taking it today.

Definitely a no brainer. I don't see how they can write up the invoice for $30, let alone do the sandblast and powder coat for that! Great deal!

I expected it to be over 100.

The way they make it so inexpensive is doing alot at the same time so I have to wait at least 10 days is the down side. I am ok with that.

I like that you were able to get them to charge Kellogg's Nutrigrain for even the 30 bucks .......

Knowing what I just paid for the new OEM kit, I admire your fortitude in tracking down the parts and ebay'd hitch. I'm sure you don't want to rub it in, but let us know what your total cost is when your done ......

I'm at 350 but most likely will need bolts. The hitch guy sent a bunch, most seem to be wrong. I'd have happily paid even 600 for a complete real deal. I was afraid of the ones on eBay and the dealers I found wanted a fortune to ship.

Got most of the gunk off the sticker.
