Thanks so much for the write up and DIY video.
I have a 06 4.8is, how would I tell if i have a 4 corner or rear only self level suspension? also for my rears do I have the sport or comfort springs?

Thanks in advance.

This has been discussed in the past as far as the rear suspension springs go.

First off, I'm surprised you don't know this, but all 4.8iS come with 4-corner air suspension, there is a ride height switch to the left of your steering wheel, the cars that don't have 4-corner will not have this switch. It was standard equipment for all 4.8iS.

Second, you need comfort springs for the rear on your model and any model with EHCII (2-axle air suspension), because of the additional height travel on those models, the comfort springs are what fits.

The Arnott "sport rear springs" are only for sport package equipped models whom also have rear self-leveling suspension.

Thanks so much. I do have that switch but I I don't know how to use it. I've tried pressing it when driving to lower the car but it doesn't really do anything.
