Front passenger window issue

Window issue on front passenger side.

Hi guys, please check out the picture below.

I had issues with the window getting stuck at lowest point along with clicking sounds.

There is a plastic piece which lead the wire (circeled) which seems to be broken. Is this a replaceable piece as far as you know.?

That looks like part of the regulator to me, not serviceable

+1. Looks like you in for a regulator. You can re-use your motor.

I concur. I think mrbmw rigged it with steel wire to keep the cable
In the groove. You can give that a shot.

Glad to help. I'm not sure if that's a BMW part that they are selling. I don't think BMW sells those clips separately from the regulator. You may be able to rig your existing clips, like TTGTR was saying. Let me see if I can find the video that mrbmwx5 made...

Found it.

Here's the thread and video that mrbmwx5 made:

Let me know if you attempt to do this, and how it works out. I need to do the same on one of my windows.

Thanks for the thread and the video.

Do you suppose i need to take the carrier out of the door to do the fix.?

It would be a lot quicker to fix it while its still in place.

I just did this fix. Will probably last as long as a new crappy plastic OEM piece. And it took about 10 minutes to do..no need to take out Carrier since you can reach all the holes to thread zip tie through. just make sure you clip the ends.
