Red face Using non x5 M62TUB44 in my 4.4 X5

So I have searched but the answers are kinda unclear,

I have a 2001 X5 4.4 that jumped chain.

so lets get right to the point, I found a low mileage 2001 740il motor M62TUB44 for a good price.

Can this motor be used in the X5? I see alot of threads about this but they all turn into "why did you x5 motor break" and then discussions about that.

I know the oil pan, windage tray, possibly pick up tube oil pan and front covers are different. so are the valve covers. but.....

cams, pistons, rods, crank ect are the same

block uses different part number according to real oem (not sure why)
pass side head uses different part number (not sure why)

but valves and everything in the heads are correct. might just be a casting thing extra bolt hole or such.

Let Me know ASAP I need to get this motor soon.

Thanks so much.

I just need straight answers not more questions like why not just fix the motor in the x5 (its junk, 215K on it anyway.)
