That's exactly the point of a build thread is to share your adventure with your car. Sharing issues that arise and the way you solved them during your ownership, which will help others down the road too. I'm all for improving a car over stock with quality mods. However learning and testing the very limits of parts and your car in general should be done in a SAFE manner and that's my point here. Document it using proper tools, which I mentioned above, that will show credible data and will be more fun as well. Because these street racing clips of yours do not provide any credible results whatsoever and endanger others. Keep yourself and others safe

I can't believe a grown ass man just posted this ignorant type of a reply! You sound like a teenager that just got his first car and thinks it's all fun and games until something serious happens. FYI Whether it's busy or non-busy highway it's still a public road. You do not have any sort of a control over what other drivers do on the road. God Forbid, but it only takes one person to switch a lane without using turn signal and looking and smash right into you when you're speeding and passing them on the right or left. Endangering other drivers on public roads with that type of a behavior has no excuse. Stop before your luck runs out, you're not impressing anyone here with that type of driving nor does it express any credibility to the mods you performed.

Your input is great, right on the mark. Unfortunately, you are trying to have a sensible adult conversation. Regardless of age, when an ego is fed by their vehicle and is their verification of the size of their junk, it is highly probable they will not see the light until the imaginary horrible actually happens.

Well, if it's only 5% of the time on the street there is no chance you will hurt anybody.

14 second run? That means the car in the other lane was running in the very low 11s or 10s. What was it?

You are entertaining. I always enjoy your posts. Hopefully you are also having fun.

Looks like an evo X. Apparently you can hit 11s with them by doing full exhaust/injectors/tune and stock motor/turbo

Where is the pun?

Based on the end lights difference he would have to be running 11 or less for you to be running 14 flat. What am I missing?

I don't discuss the difference that nitrous makes. I will tell you what I have done. The Dinan mods increased HP to 369 and torque to 382. I added meth injection that, depending on the application or who you ask, increases HP 10-20%. I have a 150 shot of nitrous. Meth also increased torque. It is well documented that nitrous really bumps up torque.

Kind of hard to tell if your joking, but...... Doesn't a stock 4.4 run 14 something. You would think with all your tunes and mods and consistent spark plug changing, you would be a little faster than a stock 4.4 X5. Your X looked slow in that vid.
