Here are several examples of exhaust options. First one is muffler delete and X pipe.

Thanks for the link! Great video.

Only thing with the first one is that it sounds AWESOME but it's not my engine correct? They didn't have 4.4's in that bodystyle. I really want to hear EXACTLY how mine would sound

You are never going to hear exactly how it sounds from a video. There is always some distortion. One last video.

Search up E39 540i's too or even M5's. Similar engines and there are plenty of videos specifying with resonators, x-pipe, whatever.

I'm annoyed that the generic Magnaflow mufflers will NOT fit on our e53's because they are like 21-22 inches long, and we only have about 19 inches of room (length) for each muffler. Damn.

Magnaflow part numbers 11365, 11366, 11375, and 11376 look like they will fit the E53.

I've seen pics of someone's E53 where round Magnaflows were installed at an angle to clear the wheels as well.

Forget the mufflers and just add on resonators...also by Magnaflow.

You won't get a muscle car sound at all. Our cars idle smooth and are pretty different sounding than an American V8.
