COLLEGE! THE GLORY DAYS!

Save your pennies for cheap beer and women. You have 4 years to not give a sh!t about your car. Worry about the BMW when you have a big boy job.

I checked out both of the links from your first post. There is no such thing as a universal muffler so I would not purchase either of the two.

It is good advise to save your $$$ for other things but it is your decision what you want to do and when, so, if you are going to buy using Ebay at least find something that specifies it will fit your X5 with no or a minimum of modification and cost to install. Also, purchase from a seller that has a 98% or better satisfaction percentage from a great number transactions and 5 star vendor. If you do so, you will not know how it sounds, let alone exactly, but, it will be inexpensive. The other inexpensive option is the delete option where you have a better idea what it will sound like but still not exactly. Everything else in comparison to the these two will be expensive.

Totally understand what you're saying trust me ^^

It's not like I WANT to buy s*** for my expensive BMW truck, but I just want more rumble and noise from my exhaust and don't have the funds for Supersprint, Eisenmann, etc..

I already have a Magnaflow X-pipe installed and heard a muffler delete might sounds too raspy..any info on that anyone?

There is no specific definition of raspy, what it is to you does not mean it is the same to someone else and audio recording won't be the answer. You are stuck on exactly the sound you will get and that is an impossible to confirm. Make a delete cut and if you don't like the sound weld it back in place. If you do like it you are a good share of the way toward job completion. Do it!

I have Magnaflow Cats, Magnaflow X pipe(resonator eliminated) w/stock mufflers. IMO my X sounds great. Not to loud, not to quiet, but nice and crisp.

Yea I think I MIGHT go with the 4.8is exhaust. My friend has a set OEM, so I might buy them off him. Think it will sound good on a 4.4i with just an X-pipe and 4.8is exhaust/mufflers?
