Got "tmv'd" today!! Well, on a smaller scale.. :)

I know this is the E53 and not E83 forum, but just picked up a Silver/Black, 2006 X3, Auto with Sport Package, MSport, 102K, fully loaded except for PDC and NAV. Yes it is not the "manly" E53, but for my purposes, it fit the bill.

So far so good.. Obviously not the "monster" 4.8is that TMV picked up, but its much smaller cousin..

Pics will happen soon, then off to E83 land..

I will still frequent this forum as I still like the E53 platform and learned a lot about the platform from the good folks o'er here..

I like how this TMV thing has caught on. Everyone is steeping up to newer Xs. Congrats and enjoy.

E53 is a great vehicle. Sometimes I think I should have gone with the 4.8is E53 instead of the 4.8i E70.

Quick pic I took with my phone on Saturday, nothing special.. Will have better pics once she is nice and prettry..

Interesting, the pic was taken right next to the 4.6is I test drove that day as well..

Was leery about that one since I heard a distinct clunk, each time I stopped short or exerted any real effort in braking, CA bushings, maybe?? Plus, it was missing a gas cap, how could they not replace something like that?? Luckily, my X3 checks out pretty well so far..
