The AUX function is hidden until you install the BMW aux cable, read the link below from the DIY section. It shows a nav equiped car but I believe it's the same on the non-nav cars also, just do a search many members have done it, it's really simple and easy to do.

Yep we already have the aux jack. My wife has an extensive CD collection and who's got the time to rip all of those...
