I do not have the GT1, I wish I did. Nor do I know anyone who has one. If I go that route I'll have to wait for my appointment with the stealership on Thursday.

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
I agree with e30cabrio, diagnose the faults with DIS first, there are tell tale fault codes showing the compressor out of spec and needing the rebuild kit.

Also I don't have a facelift but from what I know about the dsc light coming on with self level inactive, it could be a transfer case actuator motor fault.

Regardless, your air struts should hold air whether the compressor is running or not (air is stored in the air tank), so if you are losing air overnight on one side you might be leaking and needing Arnott replacement air struts.

Ricky Bobby,

Problem is, my front passenger side isn't filling up to begin with. All the other bags are very full and tight. Bug the passenger side bag is completely empty, and the compressor will not kick on to even attempt to fill it up. If it were filling up and then sagging over night, I would get a new strut regardless because that would be a tell tale sign that the strut has a bad leak in it. But when it won't fill up in the first place so it can leak over night, it makes me think it's a compressor issue. The other bags probably just haven't leaked down yet. Given time my guess is they will all be empty. I noticed that the bag on the front passenger side is a replacement Arnott strut, but the bag on the left side that is full is probably the original strut. That doesn't make any sense to me either. Guess I'll get this all figured out on Thursday.

Arnott bags are lifetime warranty. I'd contact them if it were mine.

I will contact them. I'm not 100% sure yet though that it's leaking. I never noticed my car sagging before this happened. If it is though, I will definitely call them. Is the warranty transferrable?

Doesn't sound too promising.

Says you have to have the original sales receipt. I do not have that. I will still contact them if that's the problem, you never know, sometimes these companies can be generous.

I got mine on eBay, then read that on their site. I messaged the seller & he mailed (real USPS mail) a receipt. I was shocked!

I hear they are good to deal with, tell them you bought the X with it installed. Seeing as it is an 06 how old could the bag possibly be?

UPDATE

Update:

Couldn't wait for the Thursday opening at the stealership, so I took my X5 to a local indy shop in town. They hooked my computer up, and there were no faults coming back. They turned on the compressor and made sure all the bags were full. The self level inactive light is now off, and the right side is no longer sitting low. I reached in and felt the bag this evening and it is entirely filled. The indy mechanic does not know why it was not working and he said everything appears to be operating correctly now. He even sprayed soapy water on all the bags, and he said they did not bubble at all.

So hopefully you will not hear from me again. He said wait a couple days and bring it back. If anything else comes up I will update this thread.

Congrats! I hope all is well.

That is really odd. Now you can raise & lower the suspension with the switch?

I'd say get the diagnostic programs because you could have done that yourself if you had it.

All is NOT well since you really didnt do anything....or maybe i missed the "fix".

When my bags started to go, I would go to the vehicle in the morning or when its been parked for a long period and the diver side would be "somewhat" low. Overtime it started to go lower and lower till it started ti pretty much sit on the fender. This went on for a while and sometimes with the vehicle sitting over a long period, it would not go down but stayed normal. Eventually it started to lose air while i drive. So whe I came to stops.....stop lights and it kind of step of the brakes hard, the vehicle would slide because one side had little air compared to the other...so the suspension was not equally "firm".

One day I was driving to a place thats over an hour away and I took a road that had lights but also somewhat heavy traffic. I was about 45 minutes into the journey when I heard POP and all of a sudden BOTH front where completely flat and the car is bouncing worse than a low rider.
