Just bought a 2006 X5 4.8is 100k km

just a word of advise, if you are feeling saucy don't attempt the repair of the sunroof cassette without someone around who knows whats going on, i am a bmw technician and fixing the cassette is right up there as one of the hardest repairs you can do

i know this from experience, mine is broken as well and i haven't even thought about trying it yet..

Thanks, I was looking at the drawings and the do not look easy or cheap. How many hours is it stated for a bmw tech to do that work?

guestimate around 8 ish i believe plus even for a tech its as close to a nightmare as it can get

All the small parts and gaskets then getting it to sync together is the main trouble?
