Powers1,
To me, Remus has a better quality "feel" than Supersprint. I had Supersprint on my MCoupe and it didn't look top quality...sounds great, but it was loud. Ultimately, I grew tired of the drone and got a set of Remus for it as well. Now both of my cars are running Remus If I can find a set of Eisenmann for the coupe, that will be my next exhaust for it

I think Remus is an excelent exhaust manufacturer!Have used and fitted many of their systems.Unfortunately ,some systems are only made of stainless internal parts ,which still tend to rust with time ,as welds and outside are normal steel!Having said this ,they do last quite a number of years and the only problems we had were on petrol cars ,none on diesel!
Supersprint ,in Europe ,is widely aclaimed as being more upmarket than Remus ,mainly because it is more expensive and quality wise ,is all made of T304 stainless steel ,while Remus only uses some internal parts of T304 SS!
As I weld myself,I particularly like the welds on Supersprint better, far better than on an Eisenmann system ,someone posted here!Maybe this was an one -off!
AC Schnitzer obvioulsy chose Remus to make their exhausts as they are based in a neighbouring country!
Personally,I dont like the perforated tips on the quad system for the X5,especially as they point upwards and here in Europe its mainly diesels and the ones without DPF obviously suffer from a "sooted" rear end" hehehee.I have had to cut them and point them slightly downwards
