I appreciate your thoughts on the interior, personally i think it looks more classy having a contrasting coloured interior, as opposed to the full black setup. I was lucky enough to find the exact colour combination i was after, so am more than happy with it. If they did a dark red leather OEM trim, that would have been a preferred choice

With regards to the silver inserts, i hate them. Judging by the flawless finish on them, i assumed they were a factory item but i would of personally liked the dark wood trim. Im still in 2 minds as to what to do with them, because they are in such great condition, i was thinking of having them dipped in a dark wood finish.
You lucky bugger! Mine is a pig underneath .

Glad you found what you were looking for in terms of colour combination. I'm fussy about certain things with cars/bikes too. I took me months to find my X. The dark red leather would be an interesting combination in an X. I almost bought a black M3 with that, but stayed within my 'comfort zone' and went with the black on black!

I don't know how good or how long the 'dipped' inserts would be or last for (chips, scratches etc), especially when refitting them... it might be worth just buying a complete set of trim in the colour of your choice. You could then sell the silver trim and get some of the outlay back on the new ones.. Just a suggestion

However, and it is strictly my personal opinion about your behaviour in this forum, this type of language is totally uncalled for.

I am about to report your post to the moderators and if you care to insult me in your next post, I will personally lobby the forum creators and moderators that you, and your IP, are blocked from accessing this site.
What 'type of language' are you referring to exactly????? There are no swear words in anything I have said. Please clarify.

And as for putting up all that foreign-language-loaded information, well, that's quite an assumption you've made there about the OP's knowldege isn't it? All he asked for was WHERE TO GET A MANIFOLD FROM. 'Here you go dummy, have something you didn't ask for'.

That's quite a 'welcome' yourself.

That posting is rude and as I said before, was uncalled for.

The words do not have to be identified as "swear" words to be insulting - there are plenty of posts here that say "I f*cked up this, or that", or things to that effect.. we are grown people and can take a swear word - but we don't have to put up with insults

Just tone it a notch down and lets move on.

If someone is going to come at me for no reason (other than jumping on the bandwagon like the rest of the pathetic sycophants that lurk within this forum) then they better be prepared for the fallout. The discussion was between myself and another person. And yet not only have I had to put up with the latest insulting comments from Powers1, I now have you sticking your oar in as well.

Frankly pal I don't care if you thought I was 'adequate' (hmmm, a slight insult right there perhaps? As rubbish as it was I'll let you have that one.. ), what you try to do about what I post, or how you feel on my choice of words. However if you are to comment on my words be accurate for your own sake. The 'type of language' refers to swearing. I'm not talking semantics, I'm talking fact. Perhaps you meant 'tone of your reply' instead?

You also need to read beyond my post and see that Powers1 had in fact 'attacked' me for no reason. Indirectly yes, but an attack all the same. So I retaliated. Too much so for your fragile eyes? I guess so. Again, I don't care. Grow a pair, do whatever makes you feel comfortable about seeing such 'rude' scrawlings... How about this-you ignore what I write and I'll ignore what you write.. Works for me.

I'll leave this thread with my agreeing with your line about not having to put up with insults. Why do I agree? Because mine was retaliation, a direct hit rather than a shot across the bow granted, but retaliation all the same.

And please, if you or anyone else on here tries to disect these facts and argue otherwise it will only confirm to me how small your worlds really are.

not worth the bandwidth...

my apologies to the reading public for the last few posts - not worth the bandwidth, as I stated before... hopefully the moderators will lock down this thread...

I will sign out this thread and will see no more replies - unless the thread pops at the top of my list...

PS... is it another insult? "pathetic sycophants"? to the rest of the reading public?

Wow , what a incredible way to welcome a new member to the forum !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Getting back to one of the original questions re the exhaust manifold .I recently replaced my stainless unit with a non original cast unit .It was less than half the price of the original OEM both in stainless and cast.I purchased it from the UK ,if you need some more details I will see what I can dig up.

That would be much appreciated Skier1

All i can say is wow. I have been a moderator on a UK based Honda forum for the past 10 years and this type of activity in a new member thread is usually one reserved for the female enthusiasts among us

I understand that everyone has an opinion, and some people express their's differently to others. Luckily im not the kind of person who takes these things to heart and certainly havent thought anything less of xoutpost.com for it

Thankyou to those who have welcomed me and responded to my request for manifold information

Jono

Its not me,thats getting up peoples backsid*s ITS YOU AGAIN!You should have been banned ages ago and would have made a better place for all us and maybe new members would hang around.
Hope they ban you this time !

I dont think the OP found my post over informative. The foreign word stuff you call are comparative drawings showing his manifold and what he should get.Direct link to ebay seller too!Getting a manifold thru Partsgateway network, will most likely just get him a used manifold like has ,which may not be a good medium term solution!!!

As already mentioned here ,you are not worth the bandwith!
Just have to quickly say that from your last post, you obviously cannot read ,see ,comprehend, have any logical common sense.MY God,you are a complete mess mate.Get some help!

Now since you insulted me and personal insults are your trademark ,(well known here)because thats what people do when they loose arguments and cannot discuss things sensibly,I owe you an insult ..here goes !Hei ,little man ,get a "one way" boomerang and dont come back ...DO US ALL A FAVOUR!
