The X5 is a 4.4 I was thinking coils after the plugs. Would ohm checking the coils tell me if they're bad? I'm going to change the plugs tonight and see how that goes. I'm so ready to sell this money pit! !!!

I didn't check those values. I assumed since I had a new coil, and it was getting a misfire code after swapping the coils around with the old, it was good and the info I was reading on the net basically said replace them all with the same brand. My understanding dealer does the same with the original bremi's I had. Cant replace just one. On the Bosch units (look different vs bremi) you can replace them individually. Just what I have read. BMW just didn't have this problem with the manufacturer. VW and Audi had similar issues until VW switched to Hitachi.
