Just giving OP options to consider.
The current dynavin for E53 is not only compatible with DSP but also integrates with our OBC and PDC:

IBUS integration

1. Steering wheel button remote control integration
2. Optical Park System (OPS) integration for vehicles so equipped
3. Support OEM DSP sound system
4. Onboard computer information integration

Dynavin
Let us know how you feel about it once you install it and play with it for a while. I have read a couple of threads here that have decided to go back to OEM after installing some of the 'UPDATED" system.

interesting...

did somebody already try it out in an E53?

why is it compatible with OPTIC parking system when ours is ACOUSTIC parking system? maybe a typo...

So, it has a built-in DSP - does it really play well with factory DSP as it says it would?

I'd like to see somebody try it out and document it - not that I will go this route myself, but it would benefit the folks who want to do it this way...

The Dynavin absolutely looks like it belongs.

If it truly supports DSP without much of a workaround, I definitely would look to install one in my E53. Please tell us more about DSP functionality.

Guys, I don't have it as yet! The USA distributor says in his website that it will be available in the end of June. I'm just as eager to replace my outdated head unit and I have no affiliation to the product distributor or manufacturer.

This is a new dynavin model (N6) for the X5. The old one is model D99+ which I held off buying last year when I heard the new one will support OBC, DSP and PDC out-of-the-box and has better software including bug fixes in the previous model.

Here's the local USA distributor to direct your questions. The guy is called Jeff:

I just sent him an email, and checked out the N6, now I'm really excited as this is definitely the unit I was waiting for!
