Cold check should be disabled if you converted to LED. This will eliminate flicker on start. Flickering can cause LED to fail.

Interesting that you mention that. My first set did just that but had the small inline ballast while the replacements do not as shown in my photos ...
The replacement set has performed without a hitch and no flickering on start up.

All is well going on almost one year.

Probably because the new ones have a redesigned capacitor/resistor setup which doesn't allow for pulsing on cars that still have cold checks enabled.

I had to disable cold checks in the rear with my Spyder LED tails.

Now that it's about 3 months down the road, how are they? Would you buy the WeissLichts again?

Well I have had no real issues since purchasing. I noticed one flicker which i thought was odd. I just started up the car. I was facing a window in the dark and have not turned on the light switch yet. Saw a quick little flicker in the halos and then never again. This was a month or more ago. i just figured that there must have been part of the test to see if there was a connection. Is this the flicker you guys are referring to?

If they do not last longer than a year though then my vote would be to not purchase again.

I am looking to get the license plate illumination LED sets next though.

Coding through NCS Expert or SSS Progman, NCS is much easier and quicker to use
