M62tu motor swap

So a friend just picked up an 01 x5 4.4. Alpine over tan. It has a junk motor. So the plan is to swap a spare motor I have sitting around. It's from an 01 740 though.
I've heard the oil pan/pump is different and needs to be swapped. And I suspect the osv setup as well. Since the 7 uses an internally mounted osv and the x is external.

Any other tips before I get started? I hope to be getting the x here sometime this week. The new motor already has new guides, but will be getting all new seals and gaskets before going in. Worth getting a new oil pump since I'll be swapping it out anyway? Any other x specific parts that should be done "while I'm in there"?
