Replacement steps A/C compressor?
2003 X5 3.0i I see a lot of threads on the topic but no one seems to mention the steps. Which bolts hold it on, etc |

Before unbolting the compressor take it into an AC shop have them recover the refrigerant. It is illegal to vent refrigerant even R134 into the atmosphere.

3 bolts hold it on.
Looking down at the compressor the 2 on the right side are easy to get too. The one on the left is a bit of a bitch because you have to feel for it. |
