I just came across this thread. As I was reading the first post I had to double-check that it wasn't a post I had written. I've not come across a post so perfectly comparable to my initial dealing with this problem.

Does anyone know this guy? He doesn't seem to be around anymore. He listed a caliper problem diagnosed by the dealership, but didn't report back if it solved his issue.

When I first had my wheels balanced and reported back that it was still shaking they mentioned it could be a stuck caliper. This really has me back on that thought. Any ideas?

ALSO....the first time I had this issue was immediately following the installation of new pads & rotors on the front brakes.

Engine mount - if at IDLE and in GEAR you feel the shaking and vibrating, usually this part is the culprit.

Not getting it at idle. Only while moving.

(I'm ruling out engine/motor mount), mostly likely a different part causing your issue.

Personally I think its the Lemans Trim...swap with my brushed and all will be better

All kidding aside I was thinking could be caliper or issue with actual tire. Do you know if the tire was ever patched or filled and are they run flats? If its the caliper(s) sticking then lift the front and free spin the wheels and see what happens.

On m5 board guy had very similar experience and he swapped out the center link today as its the only part of the front suspension that he thought could possibly be the culprit. No updates yet if it worked. He did have some different variables than you did. and Yes I know theyre different vehicles. Ive pasted link in case you want to follow his diagnosis. Ive met him he is a mechanic by trade and trust his diagnostic process.

The tires are Conti Extreme Contact DWS. My buddy owns a tire shop, and when I bought it I knew the tires were not all the same age so I took it in. They were all almost new with the exception of one, which I replaced. They conferred with the BMW dealership that the minuscule wear difference between the tires would not present an issue. But I guess that could be something to look into. I cannot say with 100% confidence there had been no patches. But the difference between the four tires is less than 1/32".

I'll take a look at that thread.

I finally took a few iPhone photos of the interior...
