I need help. Rear air bags down.
. I got it back running just like I left it. I started to mod it again. I rode it 1k miles and saw no issues. I took the car to get an oil change and that's when my air bags decided to stay down. So I checked the 7.5 fuse and it's fine. I checked to hear any hissing sound and that was good. I check to see if there's any leaks on the compressor and that's fine. Hope someone can get me a solution or I'll be taking the MTA. https://www.flickr.com/photos/125048...6/15537934360/ |

Hi did you check the 30 amp fuse for the pump?

Check the fuse for the pump and scan with DIS to be sure no errors. Most likely pump or level sensor. The rear-air cars do sometimes blow the fuses for the pump.

Thanks guys for the response. That was the first things I checked was the fuses. And they don't look blown. Wanted to get under the truck today but the weather is nasty out.

Damn nothing yet... Well whatever. I'll update this thread since for I don't know what reason, no one has an answer to why the air suspension turned off when the X5 was on a lift. I will be bringing it to the shop tomorrow and plugging it to the computer. I'm sure it's a fuse or an ECU reset because the day I put the X5 on the lift, I noticed right away that the rear was sagging. I'll update soon.

FIXED
So the problem was that I recently had the car on the chassis lift to change the oil. I don't know for what reason. The rear air suspension stopped working and the rear sagged to the bottom. Checked the fuse in the back. #79 (7.5) and #87 (30). Went underneather and checked if there was any physical problem to the plastic sensor. Everything was good. So I went to my indy shop and got the ecu resetted. Viola! The compressor started pumping again. Solution: If there isn't any leaks. Always try to reset first. |

did you lift the car with key in position 2?
Make sure the key is fully off before putting the X on the lift, having it at full droop with the key on probably freaked the system out.
