It would be easier and cheaper to just find a vehicle with the M Package. What do you think comes in that package?

Hi Ian - I'm getting a great deal and it only has 16,000 miles on the odometer. I already think I would like to get the 333M wheels and Continental all-season tires. I suppose I'll need the front and rear bumper, side skirts and fender flares. To save money I won't be tackling the interior bits, although the dark anthracite headliner is tempting. Is the suspension the same, can I leave it alone if it is different?

To expand upon what ARD has put in. Anyone that knows anything will use the VIN decoder and if the seller says it has package X and the VIN decoder says it doesn't, people will pay accordingly as well as ask questions. To the right buyer, you might make more money over a stock, the other group, you will get less money.
To the OP, have you even priced any of the components out? BMW parts are not cheap! |

When you buy a "body kit" this comes unpainted...so you then need to install it and paint it, blending the work to get the color and metallic right. That alone is a few $$thousand done perfectly. Headlinber another $1000. Shadowline trim another $800...

Seems a bit silly to me. Sorry. Think of the dude in the Honda Accord with the primered body kit. That's what it will always be deep down. And it's going to run you at least $5K and most likely more.
Just search around for the right car. It took a 3 month nationwide search to find my X5 MSport and I purchased it from a dealer 800 miles sight unseen - except a 30 minute facetime session to check out the car. It was only 19 months old so completely covered by warranty and maintenance. I sent a check and had it freighted up here to MD. It was exactly what I wanted and I never left my house. Car buying in the 21st century has changed. Set up searches in all the online classifieds and the right one will come along.
