Here you go. As 95wildtt mentioned, it's mounted about halfway down, right before the deep pocket in the glovebox. In the middle, about 2" from the back wall.

Hey pshovest, Can you pass on any details regarding the kit/collection of parts you are using? I am looking to add a USB port to my 07 3.0si. Not looking for any I-phone stuff, I just want to ditch my multidisc for a thumb chip. Thanks in advance, Lt

The USB port that's part of the CIC retrofit is used to load maps into the GPS or music onto the CIC hard drive.
Here's the most useful guide I've found for a CIC retrofit. It's for an E60, but the E70 is virtually identical. I got all the parts on ebay from someone who did the conversion then reversed it when he sold his car.

Thats the key thing, keep all your old parts. I still have all my old CCC parts.
