Pretty sure you can just remove the wheel liner to gain access and pull them out like that after getting the bolts off on top.

Says I need to remove oil cooler from drivers side. Really don't feel like messing with that. If the fenders are easy enough to remove, them I'll do that, otherwise I'll just have to leave everything as is and tape off the adjacent areas.

Pretty sure my oil cooler wasn't removed when I had some work done at the body shop - I'd have to find my pics.
Do you have sport pkg w/fender flares? |

No, no fender flares, no sports pkg. Read a few post via google search also mentioned removal of the oil cooler. If I remove the headlights and put them back will they be misaligned or crooked ?

Yeah you will basically have to align the housings back up to get your gaps even etc. tightening a couple bolts to hold it in place and doing that solo isn't going to be easy.
If your E70 is pre LCI you will have to remove the black plastic portion of your front bumper as its clipped into the fenders under the lights. Once you do that you'll gain access to anything on the lower section of your fenders but I know for sure there's bolts (think 3) going up/down along your door seam/hinges area (so you need to open the doors) plus the ones that run along the top of the fenders in the engine bay. I'd just tape everything up and leave it alone. If you have a compressor and an air hose next time you wash the car get it really wet in there and compress air what dirt you can get out. |

From my understanding to get the headlights out the suggested way from he factory is to remove the side skirt them bumper then fender.
So to just remove the fender your Doing 3 of the 4 steps to remove the headlight. The labor intensive part of getting the headlight out IS removing the fender. |
