Did you need to do coding after fixing your actuator?

Unrelated. Auto hold does not use the parking brake, although a broken parking brake does disable auto hold. I was under the same impression initially, which it is slightly confounding given it uses the same button. Your parking brake module just failed. Flukey timing. I got mine rebuilt for $150 or so and it’s worked fine for 5 years. Auto hold system is separate. I do believe you need coding if you don’t reuse the same parking actuator but not 100% sure.
