HUD makes it a little weird. This is what I got from bimmerretrofit last fall

Since your vehicle is equipped with HUD, you may want to get MOST eNBT Retrofit Adapter since it offers HUD support (although limited): MOST eNBT Retrofit Adapter for E6x, E7x, E8x and E9x BMWs with HUD and Climate Control Support
You will be able to adjust HUD settings (brightness, height, displayed information), but navigation directions will not be visible in HUD.

Your other option is to get this adapter: eNBT Retrofit Adapter for all E series BMWs with Dynamic lines and Color Climate Controls menu
You will be able to add rear-view camera with dynamic guide lines and a front camera.
You will not be able to adjust HUD settings via OEM menu, but you will be able to do this using an aftermarket menu, similar to the climate controls menu.
