Im aware of this but a provent would be a more appropriate set up after mods

The open area is normal. Where do you see the oil coming out, is hard to tell from the photos

I assumed it was from the open area as it just didn't look right to me, but ill have to dig further perhaps the ccv under the valve cover

I think those spots is oily fumes coming out from relief valve, designed to relieve occasional built up crankcase pressure.
That tells me the turbo is not sucking those fumes into intake.
Is return hose blocked ?

Looked quickly at the return hose it looked like it has some dry caked up oul on it but do need to take it apart for further inspection, the heavy smoking from the exhaust has me guessing either ccv or turbo along with other co leaks/faults

Under round cap on photo in post #171.
Spring of the valve must be very weak and thus unable to keep valve closed at all times to ensure fumes get routed to turbo intake.

Sorry to dig up a month old thread but I had a question to those who have completed deletes. With the EGR cooler deletes (both) what do you do with the vacuum lines ? I have EGR racepipe and DPF delete but have not done anything with the vacuum lines yet.

My plan is to remove the line from the EGR cooler which can be seen on the front of the engine and ties into a vacuum tie. I will then remove the T and join the two lines which were originally plugged into the T vacuum joint.

For the EGR cooler on the DPF, the vacuum line that runs to that comes off a manifold. My plan for that was to plug the line and tie it somewhere.

Does anyone else have a different solution for the vacuum routing for the egr cooler deletes?
