The window tint is so dark in ours I have to open the roof shade to see the gages sometimes.

Try 2 things the inner tail light seals and the boot where the wires go into the tailgate or the body. Ive seen instances where one or both have failed.

Thanks. It doesn't look like it is the seal on the tail gate lights. What is odd is that it has been raining quite heavily the last few days and the water that I can see in the boot is NOT getting worse. However, when I drive the car, water then gets pushed through the gaps in the bottom of the boot. So it looks like there is a leak somewhere else in the car, water is then collected in the undertray somewhere and not getting drained and only comes up when I drive it.

Rear window Seals? I've never heard of it happening....It cant be anywhere else in the car but in the rear. The design of the vehicle simply wouldnt allow for the water to collect/come in anywhere else. I know this is a dumb question but have you sat in the back and had anyone hosing down the exterior around the seals.

Any luck identifying the leak? I'm currently in the same boat. I ordered the tail light seals and I'm going to replace them as a precaution but I don't think they are my problem.

I just replaced the seals this past weekend following the video on youtube. I thought i did a good job - but I just checked my lights after a pretty big rainstorm and what do you know there was water in them
![]() I cleaned the old sealant off very well and placed the new ones as instructed.. only thing I can think of is maybe I tightened the lights back in too much making the seal uneven? ![]() Anyone else have a problem with this fix? |

Water in the tail light assembly itself? If so, are you certain the light housings aren't cracked somewhere or the assembly glue has failed thus allowing water inside?
