Sticky Oil Coming Off Right Indoor Passenger Door Handle

Anyone have this ? It's like a black sticky oil from the leather that gets on anyone in front passenger seat when they pull on the handle to close the door. I've taken it to both Indy and dealer and they said unfortunately you can't just replace the handle it's a whole door panel (like $700). I just moved back to Chicago from Dallas and don't drive my car but 4-5 miles per week now but it's also a pain for anyone in passenger seat like on a date, parents, etc. I've put some leather conditioner on it like the Indy did which kind of helps but not a long-term solution.
