That picture makes them look much better than they are, head-on it looks worse, it looks like the power of the lights has somehow scorched the lens, im sure its on the inside, im thinking of letting it get a little worse & then doing the lens replacement for £140

This is how bad my drivers side is even after sanding and polishing.

not as easy. It's just tedious because you can cut stuff up and screw it up.

Not super easy to replace. Getting the headlights out is a challenge, and then removing the lens is tedious. The results are worth the effort though.

So turns out what I had on my drivers side headlights was crazing. I didn’t sand it down enough and the original clear coat was failing.

So I went down to 240 all the way to 5000 grit and finished it off with plastiX:

I’ll be coating it with meguiars headlight spray.

Nice, hell of an improvement ! could you feel anything on the outside ? mine look to me as if the bulb is somehow scorching the inside, but I used to have a Volvo XC90 that i though was marked on the inside, sanded it anyway & it came up perfect.

No I thought mine was from the inside as well because you couldn’t feel with the hand either. Thought they were stress cracks.

Mine took more aggressiveness grits due to the fact I had clear coated it from my previous attempt and was hard getting all that off first.

I initially tried with 600 grit but wasn’t getting anywhere and kept going down until I noticed the crazing was almost completely gone.
